Narrative: Runciman House artifact:house built in 1817 by Rev.John Millidge.George Runciman took possession in early 1840s.In 1978 the property transferred to Heritage Canada.Sold to private owner in 2009,at which point many artifacts from the house were given to AHS by Heritage Canada.
Description: Ecrw cotton knitted bedspread with crocheted border.17 cm square sections with stylized raised 12 leaf {2 rows of 6}pattern running diagon ally across each square.A four leaf milif at diagonal corners as squares meet.Eleven squares wide,12 squares long.Crocheted border of same yarn.
