Narrative: This animal was originally purchased for Cedric Griffin of Church St, Antigonish son of Rob Roy Griffin and wife Winnifred.  In turn the toy passed to the Archiblad children Ross and Charlie who were neighbours .  It is believed that this bear was the first teddy bear in Antigonish.

Blonde mohair teddy stuffed with straw; black felt pads on rear legs, beige felt pads on forelimbs with black stitching representing claws, black boot button eyes
