Originally owned by Harry G. Van Buskirk (b.February 20, 1882, d.September 25, 1963), the grandfather of the donor, who was a stone mason. He worked on the old railway station in Truro and many of the carvings around town, including many headstones in Robie Street Cemetery, as well as in other places around the county. Description: A metal chisel with a rounded handle, shaped shaft, and flat edge. Includes some markings.
History of Use:

Used for carving stone in buildings or decorative pieces, including the old Truro railway building.
