Narrative: Dolls were originally part of Kay Barrett of Truro, NS doll collection. They were originally a present for Kay from the donor's mother, Hazel Jean Galloway (DeWolfe). They were given to Thora before the fire that damaged much of Kay's collection in 1993.
Description: A china doll that wears a gold textured ensemble with fur embellishments around the waist and the cuff of the left arm (A). Three black pins fasten the top. The skirt is longer in the back and shorter in the front. The doll has brown hair and blue eyes that open and close. The doll has a removable hat made of the same fabric as the ensemble and features brown velvet trim (B).
History of Use: Belonged to Thora Hasiuk, on display in her living room for years.
