Description: Long black evening dress with a high collar, long sleeves. Brown wool embroidery design down the front and arms. Embroidered floral insert just below the neckline on collar. Stand up (high) collar has beige lacetrim. Sheer black cotton, narrow panels of black lace (floral) down front, around waist, down arms.
History of Use: This handmade dress was likely mady by Acadians from the Miramichi area. It belonged to Edith Whalen's maternal grandparents.
