Narrative: From the home of John Morrison, Middle Ridge Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.  Horses had harness which held bells that made wonderful musical sounds as they sped along their way in a summer wagon or winter sleigh. Many people were able to recognize their friends or relatives by the different sounds.
Description: Leather strap with two bells missing;
Small buckle between two of the bells;
Paint on back of leather strap;
Hole at end of strap.
