Narrative: RUTH LOUISE (NOWE) WAGNER WAS BORN JULY 28, 1928 IN LAKE CENTRE, LUNENBURG COUNTY, N.S., THE DAUGHTER OF AMOS LEROY AND ANNIE LAURA (RAFUSE) NOWE.  SHE WORKED IN BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, USA AND LIVED IN WEST LAHAVE AND HALIFAX, N.S.  RUTH NOWE MARRIED ON AUGUST 4, 1951 TO EARLE STEADMAN WAGNER OF WEST LAHAVE, N.S. IN THE ANGLICAN CHURCH, BRIDGEWATER BY REV. DR. HAROLD GRAVEN.  RUTH DIED NOVEMBER 25, 2007 IN HALIFAX, N.S. AND IS BURIED IN ST. PETER'S CEMETERY, PENTZ, N.S.

THE RINGS WERE THE BEST THAT SWEENEYS JEWELLERS HAD TO OFFER "BLUEBIRD DIAMOND". A FAN OF PASTEL GLADIOLAS WAS MADE AT DAVID LITTLE, SR. FLOWER SHOP. PHOTOS WERE TAKEN BY RUTH'S STUDIO, BRIDGEWATER AND DISPLAYED THERE. A DINNER RECEPTION WAS HELD AT THE ELK'S CLUB, ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE BRIDGE. THEY BUILT A BUNGALOW IN WEST LAHAVE AND HAD 4 CHILDREN WHO ATTENDED SCHOOLS IN THAT SCHOOL SYSTEM. IN 1967 EARLE RETIRED FROM GOING TO SEA AND THEY MOVED TO HALIFAX, N.S..
