Narrative: These shells belonged to James A. Smith, Cape Negro, NS.
Description: Thirteen shotgun shells. One eight guage shell, L 7.5cm, D 2.2cm. Two ten guage shells, L 7.2cm, D 2.1cm. Ten twelve guage shells, L 6.5cm, D 2cm. REM-UMC and D. C. Co., on ten guage shells. A CO on eight guage. Winchester on most of twelve guage shells, others are too corroded to read. Nine out of the ten shells of the twelve guage are copper, one is brass. The other shells are brass.
