This buoy belonged to Alfred Roderick Bellefontaine, who lived in West Chezzetcook. He was a fisherman for 37 years, beginning his career in 1935 and retiring in 1972.

A boat-shaped, wooden buoy painted white with a red stripe toward the bottom. It has a hole punched through the top for rope or the net to be tied to.
