Narrative: Stephen "Duke" MacIsaac was from Sydney, Nova Scotia. He was a member of the 1920 Dalhousie Hockey Team that was ranked as one of the best amateur clubs in Canada. Duke was a brilliant performer on this defensive team, playing well against both amateurs and pros in Dalhousie's exhibition games. Duke was always a first-choice selection as a member of the Maritime All-Star Hockey Team. He could have joined the Professional League, but he was more interested in obtaining his Dentistry degree from Dalhousie. After graduating from dental school, MacIsaac returned to his hometown and established his own dental practice, leaving him little spare time for hockey. Stephen is an original Sport Hall of Fame original.
