Description: This is the Jazzitha Hawaiian One String Guitar. It is made of wood, with a tin sound box on the backside of the body. It has an ornate design around the body and on the head. Numbers are written along the neck of the guitar.
History of Use: The Jazzitha Hawaiian Guitar was available for purchase beginning in the 1920s. The guitar could be purchased from advertisements in magazines. The advertisements were aimed at young boys, and often described how there would be 'no practice needed' in order to play.
