Narrative:

Used by fishermen making nets. The size of the mold would determine the fish that could be caught with a particular net. Today a tool such as this would be used when repairing nets.

Sep 25 2002 - Alan Roberts of Xavier Drive said the 'molds' are referred to as 'mesh board' and are used by the fishermen making and repairing nets.  The larger ones are used for knitting the salmon nets while the smaller ones are used for knitting the 'heading' of the lobster traps.
