Sep 25 2002 - Alan Roberts of Xavier Drive said the 'molds' are referred to as 'mesh board' and are used by the fishermen making and repairing nets.  The larger ones are used for knitting the salmon nets while the smaller ones are used for knitting the 'heading' of the lobster traps.

History of Use: This 'mesh board' would have been used by fishermen while knitting the 'headings' for the lobster traps.
