Narrative: The Scottish Catholic Society if Canada was established by Rev Donald M MacAdam in 1919 at Iona, Victoria County, NS. The purpose was to preserve and promote traditions, language, history of Scotland, and the Catholic faith among those of Scottish heritage. Branches were established throughout Cape Breton and Eastern Mainland Nova Scotia including Lismore.
