Narrative: Used on wagons or plows (Sears Roebuck 1902, p. 630)
Description: Wooden plank with metal (possibly iron) rings that have been attached to either end of the wood. There is a third metal ring that is fastened to the middle of the wood by two smaller metal eye bolts, with nuts on the end and a metal spacer to prevent the nuts from digging into the wood.  BAS-CHUT - Vieux mot acadien, c'est peut-être pas le bon (?)
