"These skates were purchaed and used in the mid 50s - but not competitively. Racers were very common in Cape Breton in the 1950s and 1960s and the Kangaroo boots were the most desirable."

Description: One pair of ladies speed racing skates with kangaroo leather (Tackeberry??) boots (a, b) and blade guards (c, d). Enclosed in original rectangular cardboard box with manufacturers stamps and label (e).
